1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using Notch Gesture ("the App") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, delete the APK and do not enable its access.
2. What the App Does & Your Responsibility
What the App does:
Notch Gesture adds a touch surface over your status bar and an adjustable hitbox near your notch or camera cutout. It recognizes single taps, double taps, long presses, and swipes on that surface and runs the actions you assign — such as opening the power or volume menus, locking the screen, toggling the torch, taking a screenshot, opening notifications, adjusting brightness, or launching an app. It can also ignore touches when your phone is in a pocket.
You are responsible for:
- Choosing which gestures and actions are active. A wrong mapping may trigger volume, torch, lock, or brightness changes you didn't intend.
- Brightness control adjusts your system brightness; appearance may vary by device and some devices may override the setting.
- Torch control may behave differently on devices with multiple cameras.
- Pocket blocking reduces but cannot eliminate every accidental activation.
- We are not liable for missed notifications, battery use from the overlay, or features that behave differently on certain devices or system versions.
- Granting and managing system permissions the app needs to function. Your system may revoke them.
3. No Premium, No Accounts
This version has no premium, no in-app purchases, and no accounts or sign-in. If a future version adds paid features, these Terms will be updated and you will be shown the changes.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS-AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, BUG-FREE, SECURE, OR WORK IDENTICALLY ON EVERY DEVICE OR SYSTEM VERSION.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR HARM ARISING FROM MISSED CALLS, NOTIFICATIONS, OR ALARMS. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO WHAT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE SIX MONTHS BEFORE — which for this free download is zero.
6. Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify us from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the App, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India (placeholder pending final publisher). Any proceeding will be brought exclusively in the courts of India.
